01ONE-ON-ONE CONSULTATION
Your visit starts with a conversation.
Dr. Spencer wants to understand what is bothering you, how it is affecting your life, what you have already tried, and what you would like to get back to doing.
This is also your opportunity to ask questions and explain any concerns before care begins.
02COMPREHENSIVE CHIROPRACTIC EXAMINATION
Dr. Spencer will perform an examination based on your individual situation.
The goal is to gather the information needed to understand what may be contributing to what you are experiencing and determine whether chiropractic care is appropriate.
03MOVEMENT & MOBILITY ASSESSMENT
When appropriate, Dr. Spencer may look at how you move, where movement feels limited or uncomfortable, and how those findings relate to your goals.
You do not need to diagnose yourself before scheduling.
That is what the evaluation is for.
04ON-SITE DIGITAL X-RAYS WHEN CLINICALLY INDICATED
Summit Spine & Wellness has digital X-ray available in the office.
X-rays may be included in your $69 visit when Dr. Spencer determines they are clinically appropriate based on your history, examination, age, symptoms, and available previous imaging.
Not every patient needs X-rays.
If you already have recent relevant imaging, bring it with you so Dr. Spencer can review it.
05INITIAL FINDINGS & RECOMMENDATIONS
Dr. Spencer will explain what he finds and what he believes may make sense next.
You should understand:
- What he found during your evaluation
- Whether chiropractic care appears appropriate
- What options may be available
- Whether another Summit service may be useful
- Whether another type of evaluation or healthcare provider should be considered
Recommendations are individualized rather than automatically giving every patient the same plan.
06FIRST CHIROPRACTIC TREATMENT WHEN APPROPRIATE
Your first chiropractic treatment may be provided during the same visit when Dr. Spencer determines it is appropriate and safe to proceed.
Same-day treatment is not guaranteed.
If your evaluation indicates that additional imaging, referral, medical clearance, or another step should happen first, Dr. Spencer will explain why.
Treatment should happen because it makes sense for you, not because it was listed in an offer.
